Steel Warehouse Alabama features a state of the art push pull pickler capable of pickling hot rolled coils up to one inch thick and up to 72" in width. Our new facility has rail and truck access and barge access nearby. We are also a short drive to the Port of Mobile for any of your international shipping needs. The line can produce pickled dry, pickled and oiled, Mil-Bond and dry lubed strip. We produce some of the cleanest hot rolled pickled heavy gauge/high strength strip in the industry. The line can handle up to 90 ton coils and is capable of processing material from .125" through 1". The electrostatic oiler with precision flow metering provides a very consistent coating on the top and bottom of the strip. To ensure quality, we also offer x ray documentation and automated inspection information on every coil processed. The facility has a direct link to systems at the AM/NS Calvert mill which enable instant feedback on processing and order status.
